I couldn’t resist posting this. Something spectacular is happening right now and on Wednesday. A small spacecraft will attempt to land on a comet and we can watch it live.
The mother spacecraft is called Rosetta. On Wednesday it will release a small lander called Philae and it will land on Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. It is orbiting the comet as I type this.
