Now the article below from the Washington Post blog citing the same study describes other benefits that increasing numbers of seniors bring. They spur innovation.
Why an aging population may be good for innovation
There is no reason that the increasing numbers of baby boomers have to be a burden on society. They might turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
