There is an interesting article in the New York Times on the pros and cons of seniors living in a big city such as New York. One striking statistic cited in the article:
According to New York city’s Department of Aging, “…The 60 -plus population increased 12.4 percent between 200 and 200. By 2030 it is projected to grow by 35.3 percent to 1.84 million.”
