Two researchers from Greece, Ekavi Georgousopoulou, a Ph.D. candidate at Harokopio University in Athens, Greece ,and Demosthenes B. Panagiotakos, Ph.D., professor at Harokopio University conducted the study over ten years.
The good news is that both males and females of all ages had less risk of cardiovascular disease if they followed the Mediterranean diet.
