You can use your arms to help keep your balance.<\/h3>\n<h1>What if after all your precautions you find yourself about to fall?<\/h1>\n<h3>If you do fall, try to make yourself into a ball and and &#8216;tuck and roll&#8217;. \u00a0By this I mean bend your knees slowly, kind of like you are sitting down, and pull them in and up and try to roll to one side. I know it sounds difficult but it is better to roll when you fall.<\/h3>\n<h3>Try to fall on fleshy part to cushion your fall. \u00a0Also try to fall and roll on a soft surface such as snow or grass.<\/h3>\n<h3>Before you walk on ice or snow think about the best way for you to fall.
